Orientation Meeting with Minority Group – Karachi West under the project “NIC Registration and Civic Voter Education in Target Districts of Sindh”

An orientation meeting was conducted with members of the minority community in Karachi West to introduce the project’s objectives, planned activities, and opportunities for community participation. The session aimed to build awareness about the importance of inclusive civic engagement, equal access to public services, and the protection of the rights of minority communities.

During the meeting, participants shared their concerns regarding access to essential services, civic documentation, and social inclusion. The discussion also highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between community members and project partners to ensure that marginalized voices are represented in decision-making processes. Participants were encouraged to actively engage in upcoming project activities, NIC registrations, awareness campaigns, and voting simulation sessions to promote greater inclusion and equal opportunities within their communities.

The meeting concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing participants to clarify project-related information and express their expectations. The orientation helped establish a foundation of trust and cooperation, reaffirming the project’s commitment to empowering minority communities and ensuring their meaningful participation in local development initiatives.
