Meeting with Ziaullah Khan Tareen, DIG Prisons

A fruitful meeting was held with Mr. Ziaullah Khan Tareen, DIG Prisons by Ms. Mumtaz Mughal Director Programmes and Mr. Allauddin Khilji Resident Director AF Balochistan, to discuss the ongoing Jail Project. The discussion focused on the project’s progress, including the trainings conducted with prison personnel and other related interventions implemented with the continued cooperation of the Balochistan Prisons Department.

Mr. Ziaullah Khan Tareen acknowledged the positive impact of previous initiatives and expressed his full support for the upcoming interventions planned by the Aurat Foundation. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to advancing gender-responsive initiatives and strengthening institutional mechanisms for women and juvenile inmates across Balochistan.
