Meeting with PTI Secretary-General on Proposed Intra-Party Consultation and GESI Objectives

On Wednesday, 29 July 2026, a meeting was held with Mr. Salman Akram Raja, Secretary-General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, at his office in Islamabad. He was briefed on the proposed intra-party consultation on the party constitution of PTI and its GESI objectives and requested to nominate relevant party representatives, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and minorities.

The meeting was organised by Aurat Foundation under the EU-supported Pakistan Women Leaders Project, a joint initiative of UNDP and UN Women, aimed at promoting gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) in political processes.
