Aurat Foundation Meets Sindh Minister for Women Development to Discuss Aurat Card and Access to GBV Helpline

Productive meeting with Minister Shaheena Sher Ali, Women Development Department, Government of Sindh held on 22-10-2026. We had a detailed discussion on the upcoming launch of Aurat Card – a nationwide women’s safety and membership platform by Aurat Foundation, launching Q4 2026. We explored collaboration to facilitate access to the WDD’s GBV Helpline 1094 through the Aurat Card app, including its one-touch emergency call feature. The Minister appreciated the initiative and its potential to strengthen accessibility and referral for women across Sindh. Grateful for the support and positive response from the Ministry.

Next step: meeting with Secretary WDD for signing of MoU between Aurat Foundation and Women Development Department.
