AF Quetta Team Meets Governor Balochistan to Strengthen Collaboration on Women’s Rights and Access to Justice

The Aurat Foundation Quetta team called on to discuss future collaboration on promoting women’s rights, advancing gender equality, and improving access to justice across the province.

During the meeting, the Aurat Foundation team briefed the Governor on the Foundation’s mission, its ongoing initiatives, and key projects aimed at protecting women’s rights, strengthening access to justice, and promoting inclusive development in Balochistan.

The team also discussed the proposed Launching Ceremony of the Aurat Foundation’s 40 Years Commemorative Book in Balochistan and requested the Governor’s support in hosting the event at the Governor House. In addition, the team sought the Governor’s support for the Aurat Foundation Endowment Fund to help strengthen the Foundation’s long-term sustainability and continued work for women’s empowerment and human rights.

The Governor warmly welcomed the proposal and expressed his support for the initiative. He suggested that the provincial event be organized during the last week of August or the first week of September at the Governor House and assured the Aurat Foundation of his cooperation in making the event a success.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Aurat Foundation team presented the Aurat Foundation 40 Years Commemorative Book to the Governor as a token of appreciation and to highlight the Foundation’s four decades of commitment to women’s rights, human rights, social justice, democratic values, and inclusive development in Pakistan.
