Aurat Foundation Karachi Hosts First Secretary of the EU Delegation to Pakistan for Discussion on Human Rights in Sindh

Aurat Foundation Karachi office had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Kert Ajamaa, First Secretary – Political, Trade and Communication Section, Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan on Wednesday, 21st October. The meeting was held to discuss the human rights situation in Karachi and Sindh province, particularly issues relevant to the work of Aurat Foundation, including women’s rights, gender-based violence, and civic space. During the meeting, Mr. Ajamaa was briefed on AF’s ongoing interventions and advocacy in Sindh. On the occasion, Aurat Foundation also presented its commemorative book on “40 Years Journey” chronicling four decades of the organization’s struggle and contribution towards women’s empowerment and rights in Pakistan. We thank Mr. Kert Ajamaa and the EU Delegation for their keen interest in human rights and for engaging with civil society organizations.
