AF Team Meets Pakistan People’s Party Leadership to Advance Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Political Parties

The AF team in Islamabad conducted a productive meeting with Pakistan People’s Party leadership at their office, as part of the project titled “Advancement of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion within Political Parties.” Mr. Nayyar Hussain Bukhari committed their party’s support for the project initiatives and commitments. He expressed his and party’s commitment towards gender and social inclusion by expressing how party constitution aligns with the constitution of Pakistan. The meeting adhered to the established agenda and was deemed successful. This project entails a comprehensive review of the constitutions of political parties and proposed amendments to these constitutions to promote gender equality and social inclusion within decision-making bodies of the parties.
