(MoU) Signing Between Aurat Foundation and Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) to Strengthen Reintegration Support for Returnees

A MoU is signed between MRCs and AF regarding Reintegration of Returnees (RoR).
Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs), under the framework of the Reintegration of Returnees (RoR) Project, are mandated to facilitate the sustainable reintegration of returnees in Pakistan through the provision of reintegration services, including information and counselling, referral pathways, case management, coordination of assistance and linkages with relevant public and private service providers.

Aurat Foundation (AF) is one of Pakistan’s leading women’s rights and civil society organizations, working to advance gender equality, women’s empowerment, human rights, social justice, and inclusive development. Through its extensive network and community-based interventions, AF provides specialized support and protection services to individuals in vulnerable situations, including women, girls, survivors of gender-based violence, marginalized communities and returnees. These services include legal aid, psychosocial support, referral and case management, awareness raising, capacity building, livelihood linkages and coordination with government institutions and service providers to facilitate access to essential services and promote sustainable reintegration and social inclusion.

Whereas both parties recognize the value of collaboration in strengthening referral mechanisms, enhancing access to protection and reintegration services and promoting coordinated, survivor-centred and rights-based support for returnees and other vulnerable populations across Pakistan.
