A New Partnership for Women’s Financial Empowerment in Balochistan

Aurat Foundation Balochistan is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Banking Services Corporation, Quetta, marking a significant step towards promoting financial inclusion and women’s economic empowerment across Balochistan.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Allauddin Achakzai, Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP-BSC) Quetta, and Mr. Allauddin Khilji, Resident Director, Aurat Foundation Balochistan.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Roman Ali, Deputy Chief Manager; Mr. Muhammad Ali, Assistant Chief Manager; Mr. Waqas Durrani, Assistant Director; Mr. Mian Muhammad Alim, Assistant Director; Ms. Ayesha Khan, Assistant Director from the State Bank of Pakistan, and Mr. Mehmood Khan from Aurat Foundation.

Through this strategic partnership, both organizations will work together to promote digital and financial literacy, strengthen women’s financial inclusion, and enhance the capacities of women entrepreneurs, women-led businesses, women home-based workers, and other key women economic sectors across Balochistan. The collaboration will also focus on awareness campaigns, community outreach, financial education, entrepreneurship development, and increasing access to formal financial services.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating greater economic opportunities for women and building a more inclusive and financially empowered society in Balochistan.
