NADRA Mobile Registration Van (MRV) – NIC Registration Activity at District Karachi West

As part of efforts to promote civil registration and improve access to identity services, the NADRA Mobile Registration Van (MRV) was deployed in District Karachi West on 24 June 2026. The mobile service enabled community members, particularly women with limited mobility or limited access to NADRA registration centres, to apply for new CNICs and complete biometric verification closer to their homes, improving access to legal identity.

The activity contributed to increasing awareness about the importance of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), which are essential for accessing voting rights, banking services, social protection programmes, education, healthcare, and other government services. The deployment of the MRV in Karachi West helped ensure that women and marginalized communities could obtain tokens in a convenient and accessible manner.
