Social Entrepreneur & Former Minister, Caretaker Government, Quetta
Thank you for recognizing my potential, for supporting so many women like me.

As Aurat Foundation celebrates 40 years of powerful, consistent advocacy for gender equality and women’s rights in Pakistan, I want to express not just my congratulations but my personal gratitude. Aurat Foundation has played a truly transformative role in my life. It was through their platform that I first stepped into the space of public service, becoming a member of the Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women. That journey didn’t stop there. My continued association with the Aurat Foundation opened more doors I went on to serve as the Coordinator to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, and eventually, I was appointed as a Minister in the Caretaker Government. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the encouragement, exposure, and belief that the Aurat Foundation instilled in me. So this isn’t just a message of celebration it’s a personal thank you. Thank you for recognizing my potential, for supporting so many women like me, and for being a force that continues to shift mindsets and create opportunities in places that need it most. May the next 40 years be even more impactful, fearless, and revolutionary.
