Aurat Foundation’s steadfast commitment serves as an invaluable resource for democratic institutions.

It is with sincere appreciation that I acknowledge the receipt of the abridged preview of “40 Years of Struggle: Milestones of Struggle and Success”, a distinguished commemorative publication of the Aurat Foundation. This significant document encapsulates four decades of the Foundation’s unwavering dedication to the pursuit of gender justice, democratic development, and the empowerment of women in Pakistan.

This historically rich and visually impactful publication stands as a compelling testament to the Aurat Foundation’s enduring efforts in safeguarding and advancing the rights of women and marginalized communities. The documented milestones in legislative reform, policy innovation, and grassroots mobilization not only reflect the Foundation’s steadfast commitment but also serve as an invaluable resource for democratic institutions.

As the Convenor of the Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights, I especially commend the intersectional approach underscored in this publication. The Aurat Foundation’s sustained advocacy has meaningfully contributed to the formulation and strengthening of progressive laws, the promotion of inclusive governance, and the amplification of voices too often unheard, particularly those of women and children.

On this significant occasion, I convey my heartfelt congratulations to the Aurat Foundation. Your institutional legacy continues to inspire and guide parliamentarians, civil society stakeholders, and the broader development community in advancing an equitable and just society.
