Aurat Foundation has opened avenues for thousands of women to organize, advocate, and claim their rights with confidence.

As Aurat Foundation marks forty years of dedicated service, it stands as a testament to the ongoing struggle for women’s rights, gender justice, and democratic participation in Pakistan. Since 1986, the Foundation has enabled women to engage as informed citizens, influence public policies, and strengthen their communities through education, advocacy, and leadership.

Islam encourages dignity, justice, and meaningful participation for both men and women, and the Foundation’s work aligns with these values by promoting knowledge, civic engagement, and collective welfare. Through community mobilization, political awareness, and institutional reforms, Aurat Foundation has opened avenues for thousands of women to organize, advocate and claim their rights with confidence.

I have been associated with Aurat Foundation since 2002 and have had the privilege of witnessing its evolution, resilience, and grassroots impact. As we celebrate this milestone, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and pray for continued strength and vision in advancing an inclusive, equitable, gand prosperous future for women in Pakistan.
